The Process
Each design problem brings different things to consider when achieving the solution. These considerations are influenced by the business type, the target audience and the media type. DCM Graphics produces design solutions for a wide range of clients, across different industries, with different aims and audiences. Listening to each client's individual requirements and understanding their business and communication objectives is the first step to achieving the most effective solutions.
Before undertaking any project it is important to establish your requirements and formulate a brief. A quote can then be supplied based on a possible solution (or more than one quote based on more than one possible solution). The quote will be as in-depth and accurate as possible at this stage of the job. We will consider your budget and timescale when discussing the elements of the design, development and production of your project.

Typically 3 or 4 initial creative design layout or conceptual ideas will be presented to you.
After discussions, and further creative and functional development if required, an idea is chosen and developed into a full visual which you are completely happy with. Any image creation or media buying will be finalised at this stage.
Before delivery of a project, whether printed or digital media, you will be asked to check and approve the work. Delivery times vary depending on the job and whether printed or digital media.

Collaborative Services
Design concept and artwork creation, along with most image creation and flash / html work is undertaken by DCM Graphics. To ensure a full service is achieved, it is often the case that a specific brief requires collaborative services such as illustration, photography, print production and web development services such as CSS, XHTML, database creation, CMS, secure server / secure payment facility management.
